Install BabyROS
BabyROS is a lightweight robotics communication framework built on Zenoh, implementing the Publisher/Subscriber and Client/Server patterns familiar from ROS without the heavy system dependencies.
It installs with one pip command. There is no workspace to create, no setup script to source, no compiler toolchain and no system-wide configuration — which is the main thing it is for.
Install the package
pip install babyrosCross-platform: macOS, Linux and Windows, including single-board computers and other resource-constrained platforms where a ROS install is impractical.
Verify the install
python -c "import babyros; print(babyros.get_topics_in_session())"An empty list of topics means BabyROS imported and opened a session successfully.
Send your first message
Publisher and subscriber are a few lines each, and messages are plain Python objects — no .msg files to define.

No SDK required
BabyROS is independent of telekinesis-ai and is open source under Apache 2.0, so it can be installed on its own — on a microcontroller-class device or a cloud node that runs no Skills.
